Where do I begin? This was a surprisingly eventful weekend. Friday afternoon, I went to the Storefront for Art and Architecture to check out their latest exhibit titled Situation NY. Then I popped over to the Dr. Jart pop-up shop and learned about all the innovative, Korean technics being put into their beauty products. I left with a customized bag of goodies* to fit my skin needs. Later, I stopped by all of the galleries on 24th street in Chelsea, including Lyons Weir Gallery to check out the Jae Yong Kim “Donut Rush” exhibition. Then I met up with a friend and we darted uptown to the Hudson Hotel for a cocktail, courtesy of Jetsetter**, in the new Half&Half lounge. And as ridiculous as it may seem, we headed back downtown to the actual launch party for Dr. Jart’s pop-up to enjoy drinks, Korean hors d’oeuvres, and even more beauty samples.

Saturday night, my friend and I went to Saks for an evening of prosecco and beauty treatments. W Mag and Clarins celebrated the 60th year of the iconic beauty brand. There were stations to indulge in every beauty need plus hand treatments, massages, passed hors d’oeuvres, and flowing drinks. We also got $50 gift cards to boot! I picked up a cream cleanser* and gave the rest of my gift card to my friend. AND before we left, one of the hosts booked us to come back for a complimentary facial from Clarins.
What did you do this weekend?
