Getting Spooky with Apothic Dark

Happy Hallo-WINE folks! This Halloween and Dia de los Muertos I'm celebrating the only way I know how - with wine, Apothic Dark to be exact! Apothic Dark is a red wine blended with dark fruit flavors of blueberry and blackberry with opulent notes of coffee and dark chocolate, and its mysterious label makes it the perfect wine for the spookiest night of the year!

For those that don't know, Dia de los Muertos is translated as the Day of the Dead. It is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and acknowledged around the world in other cultures. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey. Halloween also honors the dead but uses humor and ridicule to confront the power of death.

I can't say that I have a direct connection with death, but I do enjoy the dark side. Most of my wardrobe consists of black or burgundy hues, and dark spirits are my libation of choice. So it's no surprise that Apothic's dark and velvet texture spoke to my soul and intrigued my palette.

Apothic Wines, known for their bold, intense blended wines that combine Old World intrigue with New World sophistication, is excited to announce the return of Apothic Dark. It's secret blend highlights unique and uncommon grapes to create a mysterious wine that is evocative of the romance found in darkness.

Apothic Dark is now available nationwide wherever wine is sold and retails for approximately $14. To learn more about Apothic Wines and where to buy, visit Apothic.com or Apothic social channels.
