What To Wear (and Bring) To An Ugly Christmas Sweater Party

‘Tis the season for entertaining, and as you prepare for parties, dinners, and gatherings, we wanted to share your next go-to drink of choice: bottled cocktails.

Whether you’re hosting and looking for a creative way to serve beverages, or if the normal bottle of wine as a host or hostess gift is feeling a bit stale, look no further than bottled cocktails to either serve at home or bring along with you to your next Ugly Christmas Sweater Party.

Below are a couple great recipes from top NYC bartenders Pam Wiznitzer (Seamstress) and Leo Robitschek (NoMad)!

Cakewalk
Created by Pamela Wiznitzer, Seamstress (New York)
Two servings
1 ½ oz. Campari
1 ½ oz. Vanilla Syrup
1 oz. Strawberry Puree*
1 ½ oz. Lemon Juice
3 oz. Cognac
4 dashes Orange Bitters
*Strawberry Puree: In a blender, add 1 cup of strawberries and 2 tablespoons water. Blend and then fine strain into a container.

Build ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake generously. Funnel into cocktail bottle and enjoy with a side of Panettone! To make for a crowd, simply multiply components by six and serve into six individual bottles, or pour into a decorative punch bowl or pitcher.

Clean Slate
Created by Leo Robitschek, The NoMad (New York)
Two Servings
3/4 oz. Campari
3/4 oz. Lemon Juice
3/4 oz. Cinnamon Syrup
1 oz. Amontillado Sherry
3 oz. Cinzano Prosecco
3/4 oz. of water for dilution

Build all ingredients outside of Prosecco in a mixing glass to combine, then funnel into cocktail bottle and chill. Slowly top with Prosecco before serving and drop in a lemon twist. To make for a crowd, simply multiply components by six and serve in six individual bottles, or pour into a decorative punch bowl or pitcher.
