New York City has endless options for date night, but occasionally you just wanna Netflix, wine, and chill with your boo thang. Nothing better than a romantic date night in or simply cozying up on the couch. For date night, I’m bringing out the Faustino wines for a mini tasting.
I love to discover new wines and date night in is the perfect occasion to do so. With this dreary weather we’re having (summer what happened?) it’s easy to reach for a bottle of Faustino wine, order pizza, and cozy up for a night of binge watching.
Faustino’s Reserva 2012 Tempranillo pairs well with prom, red meat, paella, spicy dishes, and mild cheeses. The 2014 Crianza has a beautiful garnet color and is tart on the palette.
Faustino wines have more than 150 years of winemaking, crafting Spain’s most iconic wines. The Reserva line of wines comes from Rioja’s most esteemed wineries. Bodegas Faustino wines are known for production in one of Spain’s greatest vineyards, the upper part of Rioja Alavesa. Faustino wines are high quality without the high price tag.
The Faustino VII Tempranillo is a bright red wine with hints of vanilla and ripe red berry fruit. Such an elegant wine for pre-dinner drinks or even to accompany your meal if you decide to do a more formal date night in. It’s a perfect blend of reds that pairs well with all meats. Impressing your date? Check!
