Ok, remember how I said fall is my favorite time of year? Well, I forgot about the one down side – dry skin. My skin is dry no matter what time of year due to eczema but the change of season really takes a toll on my skin and my regimen changes completely.
It’s always important to have a day and night skincare routine, but during the colder months I add a little extra TLC before bedtime. Beauty sleep is real, y’all! So this season I am incorporating derma e’s Hydrating Night Creme with Hyaluronic Acid into my lineup.
I admit, my skincare routine is not 100% natural or organic but I do strive to incorporate these factors as much as possible. Everybody and their mom is a “natural” brand these days but derma e is one of the first truly natural brands. For over 30 years, derma e® has pioneered the development of vitamin-rich, high-performance antioxidant skincare solutions. Every formula is cruelty-free, gluten-free and 100 percent vegan. Natural products that deliver results.
First impressions – I love the texture and thickness of the cream. I love when I can feel the moisture actually soaking into my skin. I am a newbie to hyaluronic acid, which provides moisture, and it made my skin feel plump the next morning.
Buttttt I am not a fan of the fragrance. Well, my skin isn’t. When I say I have sensitive skin, I mean it. The fragrance caused my skin to feel tingly and slightly irritated, however it didn’t cause a rash or any external irritation. That is the only negative thing about this, for my own personal skin type, but if your skin can handle fragrance/parfum then I would suggest to try this product.
So try something new this fall. derma e Natural Skincare retails at $25.00 and is available at most Walgreens. Besides the fragrance factor, I would definitely purchase this at that price. Most night creams with this consistency and power are $60+. Bonus: Walgreens is offering coupons and I’m all about saving a dollar.
