Y’all…can I just first say that I know the universe is aligning properly when this opportunity with S.Pellegrino came about? Sparkling water is my jam but S.Pellegrino is my favorite because it’s refreshingly crisp and the bottles are so chic. As a growing foodie, I’m honored that not only do my friends count on me as their guide to NYC restaurants but S.Pellegrino trusted little ol’ me to be a part of their #TasteGuide.
In 2016, S.Pellegrino® Sparkling Natural Mineral Water launched its content hub for culinary discovery, “The S.Pellegrino Guide Taste Guide” which explores U.S. cities through the eyes of acclaimed chefs and lifestyle influencers. In its second year, S.Pellegrino has also looked to everyday food enthusiasts for inspiration by monitoring trending food conversations and trends on social media in NYC & LA. To bring this to life, S.Pellegrino hosted a Taste Guide Event New York City featuring original dishes by acclaimed chefs April Bloomfield and Ludo Lefebvre inspired by these food trends. In this partnership, I want to introduce to you the perfect summer lunch date for friends as a part of my NYC #TasteGuide – Two Hands Restaurant.
Two Hands Restaurant & Bar is an Australian, beach-inspired spot located in TriBeCa. Two Hands focuses on fresh, healthy foods that pairs perfectly with S.Pellegrino. Everything at Two Hands looks and is delicious, so I would recommend going with a friend (or two) to sample a few things from the menu. On the breakfast menu, I highly recommend the Brassicas Bowl and Banana Bread. The Brassicas bowl is so light but filling and all of the ingredients pair so well together. Top it off with Banana Bread as a “dessert” and crisp S.Pellegrino, and it’s the ultimate meal. Not into kale? You can’t go wrong with the Smashed Avocado on toast. Everything tastes just as delicious as it looks.
Since I’m on my healthy kick, I was a huge fan of the eats at the #TasteGuide here in NYC. Upon arrival at Pier 46, we received a quick tour through NYC’s and LA’s food scene according to chef’s April Bloomfield and Ludo Lefebvre, inspired by culinary trends like fusion foods and healthy bowls. What a perfect day to sample new dishes and sip S.Pellegrino.
The quail eggs and beet tostadas won my heart! Sampling these dishes by culinary artists definitely inspired me to be more adventurous when it comes to dining out.
